Caleb points out car window: Bi chrut!!!
Jamie, from the driver's seat: Oh, yeah!
Caleb: Bi chrut!
Jamie: Yeah, I see!
Caleb: Mama! Bi chrut!
Jamie: Yes sweetie, you're right!
Caleb: Bi chrut!
Bi chrut!
Bi chrut!
Mama, mama, mama!
Jamie: Yes Caleb?
Caleb, in a deep (but still 2-year-old) voice: Biiiiiiiii chruuuuuuut!!!
Jamie sighs: Yes Caleb, that is a big truck.
Caleb smiles in satisfaction.
He will not stop until I repeat the exact words that he is saying to me. This happens with almost everything he says (and he talks A LOT). He is very effective at communicating, but it seems he is not convinced that I understand him until I repeat him. When does this phase end?

Highlights
We had a busy and fun week! Here are the highlights:
Monday Caleb and Micah enjoyed some time with Grandma while I got some work done.
Tuesday the boys and I went to the library for preschool story time.
Wednesday we went to youth group. Caleb loves spending time with Mary while we lead.
Thursday we had a playdate with Malachi and Cruz. Caleb and Malachi are becoming such good buddies:
And they both fit in our small toybox!
Friday night we celebrated April's birthday by grilling and enjoying DQ cake.
And last but not least, this morning Caleb pooped in the potty for the first time! Probably TMI, but we're pretty excited about it (at least I spared you a picture!).

Friday Caleb went to daycare while I went to a mom's Bible study. We all had a fun time, and we snapped pictures of the two younger brothers. They are just four days apart in age!
