He Is Risen!

Happy Easter to you all!

We have had a whirlwind of a 3-day weekend with 5 different family gatherings, but it has been so worth it! Our family members are such a blessing to us. This weekend made me realize that I wish we could spend much more time with our extended family. The boys were pretty great through it all, and on the way home from Sandstone tonight were especially cute. We thought at least Micah would be konked out pretty quickly being that we left an hour after his normal bedtime and we're all exhausted to begin with. But both boys were awake and giggling at each other quite a bit. I just had to record some comments from Caleb tonight before I forgot. The sunset was beautiful during our drive, and this is the first time I remember Caleb noticing it on his own.

Caleb: I see colors in the sky!

Me: Yes, aren't they pretty?

Caleb: It's for you!

Me, melting: Oh thank you buddy!

Caleb: And flowers in your hair!

Me: I love you Caleb.

Caleb: I love you too.
